What is a Bond?

A bond is a debt instrument issued by the government or corporations to raise funds, with the issuer promising to pay interest (coupon) periodically and return the principal at maturity.

Types of Bonds Available

  • Government Bonds (SBN): ORI, SR, SBR, Sukuk — low risk, guaranteed by the government
  • Corporate Bonds: Higher yield, higher risk

How to Invest in Bonds

  1. Log in to M-STOCK or contact your investment advisor.
  2. Select the bond offering available in the platform.
  3. Enter the investment amount (minimum varies per offering).
  4. Complete payment to the designated account.
